LinkLine: Summer 2011
BSD's Spec Team

When you use BSD SpecLink, you are getting the benefit of a full-time staff of professional specifiers and researchers. Two registered architects, two registered engineers, an experienced architectural specifier, and two research assistants make up the BSD Specifications Department. These seven people spend all their time on the master guide specifications that make up the BSD SpecLink database.
The architects and engineers on staff are constantly at work creating new sections and improving the content of existing sections. For example, there are six new sections in the summer release and many sections with significantly improved content. BSD SpecLink is constantly being updated, with hundreds of reference standards, hundreds of manufacturers, and thousands of hyperlinks checked each quarter. Most of the research for this effort is conducted by our dedicated research assistants. All of this work is supervised by Susan McClendon, a registered architect with over thirty-five years of experience in specifications and over twenty-five years of experience in automated specification systems.
If you’ve ever asked questions about the specification content of SpecLink, you probably got a reply from one of our specifiers or support staff. Here we are, from left to right: Scott Mize (architect), Will Mosher (research), Susan McClendon (architect), William Kennedy (research), Pam Markert (architect), Joe Moreland (PE, electrical), and David Rebhuhn (PE, mechanical). Feel free to contact the Spec Department by phone at (888) BSD-SOFT or (888) 273-7638, or via email Email BSD Specification Writers.
