We are trying to gage the level of interest among our customers so we can begin to schedule sessions on a regular basis. We will hold an initial workshop at our Atlanta office on June 24th, 2008, but will also offer sessions at other locations if the demand is sufficient. The workshop is priced at $595 and includes a workbook with multiple exercises.
We have more options for BSD SpecLink training. BSD offers a two-day course designed to teach users the basics as well as advanced techniques. Day one primarily covers introductory topics that provides users a good foundation for working with the application—topics such as navigating the software, starting a project file, editing sections, understanding how links and choices work, as well as formatting and printing the final project. The second day of training introduces more advanced topics such as how to create and maintain an office master, customization using links and project notes, creating choices, and adding tags.
BSD holds in-house SpecLink+ classes in our Atlanta office eight times per year, and attendees can choose to take one or both days of training. Subscribers should have prior experience with SpecLink+ if they plan to attend only the second day. AIA members will earn 14 continuing education credit hours for attending both days of training and 7 credit hours if they attend one.
Regional classes are offered monthly as a single two-day course. We also offer on-site training, allowing users to attend class in a more familiar setting while avoiding student travel costs. The cost for on-site training is $4,000 for up to 12 people, plus travel expenses for the instructor. A travel deposit for locations on the East Coast is $1,250, and the West Coast requires a $1,500 deposit.
If you have any interest in arranging in-house training or would like to attend one of our regularly scheduled training sessions, please contact your sales representative to discuss your options. The table below lists the current schedule of training dates, locations and costs.
