G. Scott McIntosh-Mize, CSI, CDT, CCS

G. Scott McIntosh-Mize earned a degree in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology, holds CSI’s master level certification in specification writing, and has more than twenty years’ experience as a full-time specification writer.  He has been with BSD for over 10 years.  Scott served for years as Program Committee Chair and as a Professional Director of CSI's Atlanta Chapter before being elected Chapter President in 2010.  Scott has also been a regular instructor for the Atlanta Chapter's CDT exam preparation course.  Within the SPECS Department, Scott is responsible for the content of Divisions 02 – 06; architectural portions of 31, 32, and 33, as well as managing production to BSD Support checking and publishing new content to the subscriber version of SLE. As the longest-serving specification writer in the department, Scott provides continuity in the maintenance and transmission of BSD specification-writing philosophy, approach, and internal standards, and alignment with CSI standards and principles. Scott's deep background enables him to provide Subscribers with strategies for migrating their corporate master content into the SpecLink content.
