DELETED OBSOLETE SECTIONS
The Sections listed below are obsolete, and BSD has not updated them in at least two years since there was strong subscriber requests for their retention, however the time to remove the aging Sections has arrived.
SLE specification Sections become obsolete for various reasons. Those reasons sometimes involve things beyond BSD's control, like changes to CSI's MasterFormat numbering system or changes in the construction industry. Sometimes, BSD's ongoing effort to improve SLE results in major changes in the organization or scope of a Section. Occasionally, changes in organization or scope result in an entirely new Section that renders the existing one obsolete.
BSD retained the Sections listed below in the SLE database for an extended period. Subscribers had time to make the transition to using new Sections that replaced the ones below and to archive copies of their work in the Sections to be deleted.
If a subscriber has active user-generated content in any of these Sections, SLE will convert those active master Sections with user content into user-generated Sections. This will occur when the update deleting the Sections below is accepted. The original work will still be available to the subscriber to archive, copy, or continue using as the subscriber sees fit.
