Section 271005 – Structured Cabling for Voice and Data – Inside-Plant, which has been substantially revised and updated, now includes products from METZ CONNECT. The P|Cabling range of products from METZ CONNECT includes highly specified, internationally standardized and powerful connection components and connection systems in the copper and fiber optic techniques.Plugs & Jacks for Cabling:

  • RJ45 connectors and jacks in the standard performance classes are available for copper cabling in industrial and office environments and require no special tools for fast and fool-proof installations.
  • Fiber optic connectors and jacks in different performance classes, such as OS2 for single-mode and OM1 to OM4 for multi-mode connections, in protection classes IP20 and IP67 are available.
  • Empty industrial IP protected housings and flanges in industrial versions V1, V4, V5 and V14 are available for RJ45 and fiber optic connectors and jacks.

Cables & Wires:

  • Copper installation cables are available in Riser or Plenum rated for Cat 6A.
