With more than 120 years of experience dedicated to the development of special glasses and materials, SCHOTT introduced AMIRAN anti-reflective glass as a solution to eliminate reflection and glare for virtually any application where through-vision is a must. For more than fifteen years AMIRAN anti-reflective glass has been the glass of choice to eliminate reflection and glare in diverse building applications such as exterior storefront windows; hotels; television production studios; luxury and press boxes in sports stadiums; restaurants and residences with a view; large museum displays; zoos, special exhibits and displays; observation rooms and air traffic control towers; and commercial buildings.

AMIRAN anti-reflective glass reduces reflected light to less than 1% for a single pane and less than 2% for an AMIRAN insulated glass unit. AMIRAN anti-reflective glass contains a multi-layer interference system of coatings on both sides of the glass. Because the coatings are applied pyrolytically, AMIRAN anti-reflective glass can be used for both interior and exterior windows, as it is scratch- and weather-resistant.
 
Available in sheets up to 69 by 147 inches, AMIRAN anti-reflective glass comes in 5/32-, 3/16-, 1/4-, 5/16-, 3/8- and 1/2-inch thicknesses.  It is also available as tempered and laminated safety glass.
